i personally think, silence is a blessing in this specific case.

see how the counter for active players within the last 24h went down to below 100k?

but at the same time, see how many less haters we see on threads like this throwing out their meaningless comments?

i have noticed this trend grow over a couple of threads within the last weeks. when rocket was still actively posting,

a thread with patchnotes like 1.7.2.6 would have been overrun by kids calling rocket an [insert stupid insult],

why did this take so long? shouting why didnt you also fix this and that, why do you allow to remove the debug monitor?

instead, we saw people happily appreciate the work done, i only read the first page tbh xD but this is a refreshing experience for me...

sure, there still are always idiots whom just refuse to get the message. maybe thats a good thing, what else would be left

to do for me if im bored, if not pester raging haters with sexy sacrasm.

but i think this period of silence rid most of the dumbsters and we have a more mature community at hand now. i like!

i myself had a brief break from dayz, not because of any bugs/hacks/lack of updates, but because i just need something

different and not let dayz grow boring on me. so if you ever think there is nothing left to do in dayz (which is actually hard to

achieve, unless you are a hardcore addict like i am xD) and additional content just isn't on the horizont yet,

its urgent time to step out and do something else. in the unlikely case you don't play ANY other games except dayz,

you can always try arma2 - there are some really kickass multiplayer maps you can play with your friends,

and at the same time practise your gameplay so you won't get rusty when you hop back into action xD
