DaGolem 95 Posted August 31, 2012 (edited) How about repair the Powerplant for Teamplay?The Players can repair the Powerplant to light up the Town. It takes many, many scrap metal and other Stuff to repair, but then the entire Town filled with light. After mabye 8 Hours the Powerplant will be again destroyed to start the repair Challenge again.Possible Rewards:1.Open a close Building with rare Objects2. more humanity for the good TeamworkThis could be a nice Teamwork Challenge and it brings fun to the see Light of the Town after the hard work. I would assume new otherwise unfound loot would be found in the building that is open, and trolls can be pushed out of the building when the power goes out, or it would be an extra challenge. Of course you will encounter players and zeds, that's the whole point of this standoff! In 8 hrs everything restarts so other people could do the same thing, even if you still hate that that can be changed. It doesn't take hours to fix, and of course players will try to kill you and take the stuff, that's why you use a team! NVGS would be useless, so what? Also a good idea about empowering the radio towers to communicate with people. Shortly, this idea should be implemented, but the building part is a bad idea. Still an idea I'm fully behind, though. Being able to briefly change the map and alter the dynamics of the terrain would be something teams would love to roll on. They could even coordinate to storm secret areas for rare loot by splitting up the team. Of course, for big rewards there would be big risks and bandits would naturally want a piece of it. But them's the breaks.I think the idea would work a lot better, though, once we get rid of tents and vehicle storage. Then you can't just respawn and attack the same areas over and over again once you're killed. Wars would be meaningless.Technically, wars are meaningless now since you can server hop and regear in three seconds once you die. As soon as there are restrictions on loot hoarding and server hopping, wars for resources and control of areas will be a lot more interesting. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

It is simple to implement and in the Night it would be fun.The Challange is not only to repair the Powerplant this is only the first part the second part is that the highlight town say´s to all Bandits and Killers "The Door is Open and there a many Players to kill" and for the repair team is then the second Challenge to defend the open Door and stay alive with all the new and rare loot that everybody wants.
