Loading screens? WAT DOES IT MEAN?

Recommended Posts

What do all the loading screens mean?

Dayz Loading screen with a bar

"loading" with a bar

"loading" without a bar

set-up complete

setting-up character and MORE

WHY SO MANY?

ARE THEY LIES?

You gotta get them files STRAPPED ON. YOU GOTTA DO A FILE DANCE, AND FIRE THE FILE CANNON INTO EXECUTABLE LANE.

YOU GOTTA BE READY.

The reason why we wait too much in loading screen is because the server is trying to copy our player files so that we can continue on what we did last time.

Rocket actually made two mods one is DayZ and the other Loading simulator 2012, valve tried to compete by releasing MVM for TF2 which resulted in match making taking 2+ hours to load, valve won

If I get the loading screen with the DayZ logo it'll fairly often result in a crash (800 fps when done, woop woop).

I'm quite positive.

..but on to the subject, i think all these loading screens are simply pictures with a randomized timer.

Rocket mentioned DayZ as a social experiment, i believe the experiment is about the actual loading screens and to see how far people will go to play a game they enjoy.

Is there a limit?

Is it the vast loading times that makes the game fun?

Can you become mentally addicted to loading up games?

Are server hoppers actually loading screen junkies that haven't come to terms with their problem?

That's the only reasonable explenation for this.
