Yep, at the moment if I die for whatever reason I go back to a few good solid tents that are like dispensing machines and fully gear up, the only time wasted is that what it took to run to these tents. I vote Yes to a full database wipe. However, this would need to occur at the same time they fix vehicles and tents <---- priority

Get the big scrubbing brush out and get rid of every single tent, every piece of laid barb, every tank trap and sand bag.

Reset every vehicle to broken and empty.

Put everybody back on the beach with stats intact and basic gear.

It will get rid of any ambiguity when it comes to weapons.

And the skiddies are all getting caught now so there won't be as many hacked weapons. The tent trick won't work unless servers intentionally downgrade to 1.7.2.4 and then back. And THAT would be very naughty.

Just play on low population servers, less hackers there. It's not that hard to survive for very long if you're careful enough. I lasted 50 days.

Sticking to low pop servers and had a friend. We had a hacker show up, killed him and I got away.

Another friend, we were playing (him and I had literally just met up after an hour of running) and suddenly we were teleported. I escaped, and aborted. Logged in another server and told him (and the other folks) where their gear was.

It's my lucky can of Mt. Dew.

Along with a vehicle respawn wipe every week for some vehicles (not including buses, Hueys and the two big trucks) so that players can still find bicycles and ATVs and cars and stuff. As of now, you can forget finding anything in most servers.

Have BattlEye, or something on the Hive record who gets NVG, AS50s and some other crap within less than a day's worth of trouble and ban those.

On topic, it could use a wipe, but the only people it will seriously effect is people who play legitimately. The hackers will have their stuff back in an instant, and all anyone has to do to dupe is place a tent. Until they can get those issues hammered out, and the weird things that happen with vehicles lately (We've had the V3S turn into a bus, and bicycles turn into motorcycles.) there is no real good it will do.

If they are to ever do it, it needs to be when the first iteration of standalone gets released! And obviously do it for the standalone. Back when I first started playing, those were the best times, as half decent gear, and rare gear were very rare!! Now, you have a million players, picking up weapons, being killed, someone else picking up that weapon as another one gets found and eventually you can have everyone in one server (if they were to stick to it and play legit), kitted out with the best gear in the game. This is without server hopping to farm loot and all the hacking.

Getting rid of everything thats been placed on the map; tents, vehicles, traps, barbed wire, sandbags so it's all completely clean. Wiping all players characters and going in fresh for standalone will bring soo much back to the game. Also think the spawns need tweaking a bit, all too common to find half decent AR's at balota airfield when they should be further up north and less common.

Duping/hackers aren't the only reason to do a clean up. This is in Alpha, it's good practice to wipe everything so you can get clean fresh results while developing a game. I'm really surprised that Rocket hasn't done a wipe yet... Honestly I think he should do them Monthly. (or something)

As much as I agree with a hive wipe, hackers will just get their gear back the next day and everyone else will get fucked because of that. A wipe is a waste unless there is a fix for hacked crates and weapon spawns.
