I know I am probably not the first to think of this but I think that splints should be added to the game.

Splints would be applied to broken limbs to allow the player to limp around. Limping would be slow, but not as slow as crawling, limping would be louder/more visible than crawling or maybe even crouching.

Further limits could be applied such as you can only walk so long on the limb without taking a break. Maybe a splint could heal a broken limb over time. (Not my favorite idea but it makes more sense than morphine..Morphine would still heal as it does now.)

I am not sure if the mod could support it but it could certainly be an option for the standalone.

Splints would be found in the same places as morphine and blood bags. There could be small chances of finding them in supermarkets, houses, firestations, military tents, etc.

Your thoughts?

The only problem is it's incredibly easy to break a leg in this game because of all the glitches, at the moment the morphine doesn't make sense but it's instant bone healing abilities are desperately needed.

Changing the name of morphine to a split would be a better option because otherwise having a heal over time leg would just be horrible.

Oh. No, I meant that over time healing splints would be alternative items you could find and use to walk on broken limbs too. Morphine would still fast heal.

Rocket is already experimenting with this.
