microphone not working

Trying to get a pair of turtlebeach px5's to work in day but for whatever reason nobody can hear me. They work fine in counter strike, other games, but not dayz. Anybody have any ideas on what might be the issue? Any help would be appreciated :)

I actually have seen that thread before, which was disappointing as it wasn't able to fix the issue
