Rollback 1.7.2.4 or stay 1.7.2.5

Hi just need some input please

To Rollback to version 1.7.2.4 with the new security patch installed =

1. Tents all save plus the gear

2. Vehicles all save including chopper

Not to rollback and stay with Version 1.7.2.5 =

1. No Tent saves gear, but the tents stay empty after a restart :(

2. Vehicles don't save, which means each time the server restarts you have to do the same thing over and over again

3. the only good thing is, each time the server is restarted the chopper and all the cars re-spawn

So what to do?

Are there anymore bugs in version 1.7.2.4 then there is in 1.7.2.5

Any help please i want to roll back but im not sure of the negative side of things

1.7.2.5 Hero/Bandits rolling back to 1.7.2.4 are very often invisible, that's a pretty big downside.

My regular server is currently switching to Vilayer Hive, we tried out a few others using it, no more issues with yellow/red chain, no more delay with loot spawning, tents/vehicles save properly, can switch between Cherno and Lingor, seems a lot of servers are switching over to this hive, think I read 50 servers are connected to it now and they only started offering it this week I believe?

We rolled back our server to .4. Only issue is putting up with graphic glitches but everthing else seems sweet.

Yeah we still all get them in the version 1.7.2.5 so would be no diff

i have found what fixed my Graphics was disable Xfire. I run 2 ATI 7970 3gig cards

and ever since i just run one now i don't get the glitching

I rolled my server back to 1.7.2.4 just so I can have my camp set up with my friends. and finally be able to save my vehicles. The only downside so far is there aren't too many people playing that patch, most of the servers I see have no more than 12 people at a time.

Is it possible to use this Hive if the server is not hosted by Vilayer?

1.7.2.4 is much more stable. Tents and vehicles works fine. I recommend doing the rollback! Hero / Bandit skins are useless and they don't work properly anyway. 1.7.2.5 doesn't introduce anything new except a ton of bugs!

1.7.2.5 does introduce something - I haven't had graphic glitches since it came out, even when I roll back to 2.4 - kinda weird with 2.4 I had glitches- but ever since I updated arma2 and dayz to 2.5 then rolled back I had no problems what so ever (my friends still do).

We usually don't play on our server, we simply raid other servers then come back and dump the loot off in our base - kinda annoying upgrading to 2.5...raid for an hour then come back to drop it off. But frankly its how were playing for now so we can stash some stuff until the veh/tent bugs get fixed.
