question regarding PMC DLC and textures.

so i sprung for the PMC DLC for ARMA II..

what should i expect to see different in Dayz ??

i fired up the game and tbh i didnt notice anything diffferent at all.. is there some setting you have to turn on ?

ps i did start playing the PMC DLc for a few minutes so i know the game DL'd/installed fine... textures and so forth looked good in there..

does DayZ not make use of anything from the PMC DLC ?

my character (in camo clothing) was just as blurry and nasty looking as before i bought the PMC.

Camo is a part of the British Armed Forces DLC. That's why it is still blurry. I've purchased both and don't regret it. With the PMC pack, the survivor skins will be less blurry and some of the guns will be higher resolution.

The survivor/bandit/hero skin should be in HQ

for camo clothing and the AS50 in HQ u need the BAF DLC

edit: apparently the AS50 is also in the PMC pack

Having the DLC's adds a lot of content to Arma2 itself, so don't feel bad, you;ve got great extra content AND helped a small game studio.

I don't think he used the BAF skins just so you would buy the DLC.
