Sure. In fact I'm almost positive the few AS50's we've had at our camp are duped. But we've stolen them from other camps. Not only that. But it's impossible not to dupe. Since 1.7.1.5 every server I play on (Steamgamers/RoosterTeeth Servers) has tents that auto reset the gear that is in them every server refresh.

Gear isn't hard to find anymore. All you need to do is walk around the north for a while and you'll find a tent city. There's not even a point in duping anyway. The game does it for you whether that's your intention or not. It's a glitch. Put something in a tent. Then leave it there until the server refreshes. Then take it out. When the server refreshes again the item will be in the tent and on your person.
