What is the point of the M24?

It still requires hitting up a military spawn. You can find CZ ammo in every loot point in the game. It drops off farmer zombies too, so those are possible spawn points. Picking up a dozen or so CZ mags isn't as quick as DMR mags, but it's a lot safer an doesn't require hiking across the map.

U can find dmr ammo in elektro and cherno which can turn into m24 ammo...So really, you get 5 rounds of DMR, thats 20 of m24.

M24 is the true Sniper rifle of snipers imo, its far less forgiving than most of the rifles out there and insanely accurate.

Pro's:

Very accurate, if you have exact range on stationary target at 800m headshot is a done deal. Heck if you correctly lead your target at 800m headshots on moving targets are doable.

Is zeroable

Ammo conversion: 4 m24 mags convert into 1 dmr mag

Con's:

Limited magazine size

Very slow rate of fire.

Does not work with NVG's

The saying one shot one kill is this weapon basically, hard to get second shot off before they are in cover.

i can at least squeeze off two aimed shots off, with a DMR, in the course of one M24(And some of you can do much better, I assume). But will they go where i want them to? At a stationary target, it should be a clear headshot with an M24. DMR is just so inaccurate compared. I played with it a lot, but i just got bored of its limited range. I do NOT want to be an elitist cunt, but the M24 is my favourite, even with the two .50 cals around. Sleek, sexy, soulless. It looks like a real weapon, not one of those guns from Aliens.

Also, when shooting at those ranges, do they make the same damage? Do we know?

Industrials spawn military ammo, and very rarely residentials

Shooting on a guy you only see his leg? Wtf is wrong with you...

All the people replies only go on how powerful the guns are in PvP.

The day I will see a real coop in this game will probably not be Z.
