I recently liberated a gp-25 cobra from somebody. Wondering if it is a hacked gun or not. I doubt the person i got it from was a hacker himself but i don't remember seeing it before.

I'd just chuck it. Normally when it comes to hacked gear I say "Yeah, sure, as long as you didn't spawn it.", but it uses GP-25 grenades, which don't spawn. Not worth the trouble.

Yeah i assumed as much. Again though i doubt that guy had spawned it i figure he just got a good tent raid. odd thing is he had a gps as well but none of the other traditional hacked loot. Nvgs ghillie etc, unlucky for me.

It seems like a singularly odd weapon to hack in. AK-107s are just as illegal, but they have a higher rate of fire and lower recoil. It's possible a glitch in the hive gave it to him instead of the usual hacks.
