Friend banned from NL 4

Recommended Posts

Hello everbody.

A few minutes ago my buddy was banned for Disconnecting during a firefight. There was no firefight at all. We walked around like 3 hours and looting stuff. But then the server restarted. We got back on and 5 minutes later he was banned. Can somebody unban him?

You make a post with no details on the user banned or any evidence to back you up, You need to provide a few key details.

Problem solved.

Thanks to the friendly admins of the SOH Clan!

I just gave him a 15 minute temporary ban, the guys on our TS were telling me he disconnected during firefights multiple times. Anyway, water under the bridge! (or whatever it's called... :p)

SO they have NO proof of disconnection during a firefight? Sounds shady. Word of mouth means absolutely nothing.

pretty hard to prove it if the methods of doing so are primitive at best... It's easier to just go from what (several) trusted members say.

Such is life, I'm sure you'll be fine.

Believe me, I think people who disconnect during a firefight are scum on earth. But I would NEVER trust what people say. Especially when you can hardly even guarantee the person you were fighting is the person who logged off. Depends on the settings of the server.

This is ignoring the fact that bans for this reason are against the rules of the mod. The admin of the server DID say it was temporary, which I would consider reasonable IF there was proof. Yes, any form of proof would be primitive.. but its better than someones word. Fraps that stuff. Yes, its a lot of work... but its the honest way.
