Ceanze 0 Posted June 11, 2012 Hello DayZ forum! Before I will talk about the thing I need help with, I just want to say that I have checked the forum for other threds like this one, I have found multiply, but not an answer that is solving the problem, I have also gone through the check list from the READ THIS BEFORE POSTING thread. So my friend is having this problem when he is joining a server with the DayZ mod and the Arma II Beta patch, it says: "You cannot play/edit this mission it is dependent on downloadable content that has been deleted"We have checked mulitple times if everything is installed correctly and it's the right version. We have reinstalled everything once, and also restarted the computer. The problem is still there and he can not join servers with the beta patch. Any help would be appriciatedDayZ mod version: V1.7.0Arma II beta patch version: ARMA2_OA_Build_93616These versions is the latest at this moment.NOTE:It is the Steam version he have, but he doesn't play with steam when it launches the Beta patch. ultimateburger 0 Posted June 11, 2012 I had a similar problem, and I found that re-installing DayZ AFTER installing the beta patch fixed my problem.

lvg 1690 Posted June 11, 2012 What i did:Add the arma2oa.exe that's located in the beta folder as a steam short cut, edited the properties of the short cut, then edit the "Target:" box to say this.Note: You'll have to configure it depending on the location of your games. default would be something like "C:\program files (86)\steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\Expansion\beta\arma2oa.exe""C:\Steam2\arma 2 operation arrowhead\Expansion\beta\arma2oa.exe" "-beta=Expansion\beta;Expansion\beta\Expansion" "-mod=E:\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2;Expansion;ca;@dayz" -nosplash -world=empty -cpucount=6and then put in the "Start in" box (Configure for your root ARMA 2 OA folder)"C:\Steam2\arma 2 operation arrowhead"Probably the most unclear drive, i use a junction for one of my games so the drives are different. If you need any more help I'll try
