Why Do People Kill Unarmed Players

I usually kill anyone at sight. I spare people (most of the time) if they call friendly, though. unarmed or not.

A large amount of murders and killing of the unarmed comes from boredom, once you have all the gear you could ever want zombies become a minor annoyance at best. So typically rather than help other low geared folks people resort to killing for fun.

Best i've had done to me was the guy who brought a pack of zeds with him, said hi, then shot me in the leg. It broke, i fell and got eaten while he watched. Made me chuckle...................after! :lol:

i killed one guy who lied to a friend who was talking to him and saying he was on the server for the first time, i over heard the conversation and had a firefight just the night before with the same guy, so i shot him (again) because he was lying to my friends (teamspeak helps besides the direct coms)

the guy later apologized and now is running with us

out of the dozens upon dozens upon dozens of times that I've been killed, be it completely stacked in the best gear or even in starter gear, never once have I QQ'd about it

it's apart of the game, if you want to be a bandit, then go for it. If you want to be a carebear and blood bag people for +humanity then do it. Just don't QQ about being killed or ask why people do it. I don't ask why people want the hero skin. Don't ask why I kill people. I don't do it to grief, I do it because it's my goal in this game.

I played this morning for about 3 hours. In Elektro and completely unarmed, zero deaths for me this morning. Mind you, I ran around and helped as best I could. I did get shot a couple of times, managed to get bandaided up and went back to it.

You're a complete idiot. I wasn't "QQ"ing. I wasn't whining. I didn't even bother throwing in a random backstory. I was just curious to the thought process of the people that do, so i asked people who know better than I. How else do you expect to learn?

This would be the main reason I would kill unarmed players. Numerous times have I let a defensless 'friendly' Run by, only to have them try and kill me as soon as they lay hands on a weapon.

I still can't bring myself to shoot unarmed players. Though I am extremely wary of them. There's that small chance they may actually be friendly and you didnt kill a good person.
