Shovel to bury items / burial can be seen by others if they carefully look

The shovel was mentioned here a few times but I have not read about the suggestion to bury items; you could "dig a hole" and place items in there; but other players could see a pile of earth in different sizes depending on how many items you drop in there; burial would work like tents and items would also disappear after some time (server restart); also it will occur that you may not relocate your burial(s) like many squirells or birds use to do ;)

Burial would look similar to the earth you see when there is a crashed airplace or chopper but smaller.

It could also be considered that a burial is a place to save storage server indepent so whatevery server you play on the burials will be added.

Maybe have a max. number of burials to avoid overload or so...

Haven't set up any tent by now and not sure if I ever will at the current time; however this came into my mind as in a real Apocalypse I would simply never ever store anything in a tent, either ;)

Something like an underground tent? I like it. But it shouldn't be with a shovel (Equals millions of holes everywhere) but with some kind of only-usable-once item like tents. That way you can only make an underground cache after you find said item.

I preffer a 55 gal drum myself, though authentically carrying one around would mean taking up your equiped item slot IMO, and require an entrenching tool to place.

How about using a Container, but it must be a Speziel rare Container.

You should nee an entrenching tool not only to bury items but also players and it should only work on the right surface ( not on compressed surfaces or concrete ). It should just look like a little mound depending on the size of the item you place of which a player would create the largest one.
