It's all those bandits that quit because they weren't willing to hunt down more ammo for their AS-50s. Now all that's left are the true terminators. Men who are so dedicated to shooting you in the face from a klick away that they will farm barracks and zombies for days on end, just to get some ammo.

In my experience the players aren't stop playing, they just changed to private hive. All my steam friends that play Dayz are playing or Lingor or a Chernaus private hive.

Last weeks the ~10 lingor servers turned into >30 servers. More and more servers is migrating to Lingor and becoming private. There is to many dayz servers with 0 players in most time, one can simply get all equips multiples times in these servers, so there isn't a survival game in regular dayz, it's all death match and kidds playground .

Never heard of duping items or other exploiting that brings you infinite ammo?

If ammo could not be replenished and had to be actually found, it would be much much better game experience.
