rifle313 0 Posted June 11, 2012 I found a boat 30 or 40 yards out in the water with no fuel. Is it even possible to get a jerry can out there to fuel it w/o losing my inventory?
epeenoire 82 Posted June 11, 2012 I don't think so, even with another boat you won't be able to refuel it, since you cant use menu while driving/using a boat as a passenger.

Macenzie 79 Posted June 11, 2012 If you swim out to the boat, you're gonna have a bad time.Seriously when is the water inventory eating bug going to be fixed?

rifle313 0 Posted June 12, 2012 So we've established that the boat is pretty much unreachable if I always lose the jerry can in my inventory?

Macenzie 79 Posted June 12, 2012 It's a really really REALLY stupid feature then. Seriously this is an example where realism impedes gameplay...
sarlac 10 Posted June 12, 2012 Find another boat, use it to get close to the one that needs fuel. You can safely refuel it while in the water between the two boats. Obviously you'll need a second player or you'll still have to swim back out to get one of the boats. You won't drop your gear if you are not in the water for more than a few seconds. adimch 1 Posted June 12, 2012 ArmA is a combat sim, why would you be able to swim with a heavy backpack on?Isn't this the very same reason why members of Seal Team 6 died in the mid 80's.
