Is there a somewhat reliable way to save your vehicle?

or any tips for increasing the chances of keeping a vehicle?.... or do they just disappear whenever the server restarts?

I have come to the conclusion that the vehicles return to the last location they were saved at or spawned to before the update.

I found 4 locations on 1 map where the vehicles keep resetting to reliably.

Of course the only one worth running to is the motorcycle because of another bug, "auto-fix"....

So take note of where you FIRST find a vehicle and MAYBE when the reset takes place it will be where you found it.

Find a server that works. I found one that saves my vehicle and its been 4 days so i consider it safe. Also i have a truck that seems to auto fix itself every time i get out and back in. idk if its the server but it works everytime.

Yep as above, as soon as my home server resets i run around and grab a car a bike and a pushy. They dont save but i get to use them for the time i am on to get around. Cant wait for tent and vehicle fix though.

All servers that I have been on saves vehicle position just fine, the stuff inside wont get saved what ever you try to do.

It will just spawn last location you left it with default gear inside and default spawn state. atv/mb at full healt, cars broken as they would be in regular spawn point.

Heli spawns back to island always and will be fully broken.

bicycle autofixes too. i think it's better than the moto because it's a lot quieter to other players

Same deal here, havnt had a problem with vehicle location saves. Inventory only saves once though (one click of save tent/vehicle only. Any more clicks and it will not save contents).
