YOU ARE ENTITLED TO YOUR OPINION, AS ARE WE ALL. IF YOU MAKE YOUR POINT IN A CONSTRUCTIVE AND CALM MANOR, THAT IS FINE. YOU ARE NOT HOWEVER ENTITLED TO VERBALLY ASSAULT AND THREATEN ANYONE HERE ON THE FORUMS, ESPECIALLY ADMINS AND DEVS. FROM NOW ON ANYONE THREATENING A MOD OR DEV WILL BE PERMANENTLY REMOVED FROM THESE FORUMS.

Been lurking these forums for a few days and yeah, this seems like a good idea. I get it that there are things wrong with the game, but anyone who is going to go as far as making threats or personal insults to the devs or admins don't deserve a voice. I can only hope that they're just 12 year olds who haven't gotten much of a grasp on how life works yet.

Unfortunately when you open a forum there will always be a lack of decorum.

There is a certain element of our community that have a complete lack of social skills, coupled with a sense of entitlment and a need to have THEIR problem dealt with now. Along with an utter inability to research, ie google.

It astonishes me that these people even manage to switch on their computer, log in to a forum and type their vitriol without any interaction from Mom.

And let us not even talk about the profanity. Tsk!

And the rage has nothing to do with the fact that the game is FUBARED... Surely.

There is a share of constructive posts on this board and where has that gotten us? Nowhere. I dunno of a "constructive" way of saying FIX IT anyway. The proof is in the game. Have rocket locked in a room with dayz for a day on a high pop server and see how he likes it. I think playing with dog turds would be more fun.

Also, it's basic human psychology. Anger = Abusive behaviour. If this broken piece of crap of an alpha mod actually was playable do you really think you would have as much flames? Well probably just a little less, but not directed towards the dev/admins.

Are you actually serious? Do you have any idea how tedious, frustrating and long game coding can be? No, you obviously don't, because you get all worked up playing the game and then assume that only your problems matter and that Rocket must be sitting around all day doing nothing because you don't understand the concept of work. So what happens when the 'mods' are guilty of nonsensical logic and of simply not doing the job of moderating a forum?

nonsensical logic/stupidity: Allowing a thread to exist that advertises the location of hacked/duped weapons to 1000's of people. Whereby previoulsy locking threads that simply ask for hacked weapons. Huh? So it is not ok to ask for hacked weapons, but it IS ok to advertise the location of an unending supply?

not doing the job of moderating a forum: I even sent a pm to the mod in this thread, but nothing was done about the post i mentioned.

Factually and objectively can I not say that this situation is stupid, ridiculous? Who is responisble for perpetuating this scenario: the mods?

Before the auto-butthurt fanboy crusaders, get all buthurt and crusadey: If you have done as much camp finding and hacked weapon removal as I have, you might be a bit more bothered by this stupidity/dereliction of duty.

Anyway I am going to purposely make camps of duped hacked weapons and advertise them on a regular basis (because that is fully endorsed by this website), and bump the other thread until that thread is deleted...

We have talked about this extensively between us, and the result was that we arent going to moderate these kind of threads. We dont "endorse" hacked weapons. We simply were told that we shouldnt remove threads just because someone exposed a camp. Yes its a dick move, but it doesnt break any rules.
