Make Hunting Knife a Sidearm Melee

I don't feel like writing a thought-out paragraph.

Have the ability to remove your hunting knife from your toolbelt and have it in your sidearm (pistol) slot. Does more damage then the crowbar, less then the hatchet, slightly less range then both, but with a higher attack speed. Would be good for a hunter-gatherer or somebody who wants a silent weapon and rifle without requiring a rare M9 SD. Who wants it?

Dude thats a great idea, with tweaks as need for real gameplay.

I figured this had been suggested at least 5 times. I just wouldn't want Rocket to put it in the rifle slot.

This has been suggested many times now. Just wait n' see when the stand alone version comes to. There should be many more melee weapons to choose from. =]

Hunting knife taking the place of a pistol/flashlight

Baseball bat taking the place of a main weapon; used to knocking out and giving blurry vision. Will not kill zombies but drop them on the ground.

yup, again one of these..

i say no to this one, because i think there should be a third slot for melee.

if you can carry a primary, secondary and melee, why the fuck you cant relatively fast switch between them?

I think we need a third slot in the standalone. Primary, secondary and tool for mellee weapons. It seems retarded that you can carry all 3 at once but have to put the rifle on the floor to use a hatchet, lol.
