Make Military Weapons more rare, Urban styled weapons!

I'd like to see some more urban combat in the streets and towns, bring in some semi automatic rifles, like the ones some family members might have at home. I'm bored of the AS50 / M107 / L85 AWS ( oh god the l85.. ) combat.

I'd like to hear your thoughts on this, and what more non military styled weaponry you'd like to see added in the game!

Newp, DayZ is heavily military themed. (An obvious response to an infected out break.)

I agree. It's actually a bit disappointing to see so few weapons in DayZ when you look at the sheer amount of firearms that are already in vanilla Arma 2 + OA. A larger variety (even though many weapons use the same caliber cartridges) of weapons would add to the enjoyability of scavenging/looting, and would also allow for some of the more powerful weapons (namely the AS50 and M107) to become much rarer without negatively affecting gameplay. First things first; we need more Eastern-Bloc weapons, and Arma 2 has a ton of them.
