I play it as if I were actually in the scenario still :(

Meh. I never shoot first. Every KOS player I come across cant aim anyway. Just get low and go for cover and/or concealment. Ask them to stop or face death.

The better you get at not getting hit, the funnier it becomes. If it pans out, your shooter will just end up getting munched on and running off while you go on your way.
