So does anyone know how much humanity you lose for killing?

Recommended Posts

I think it's around 1000, though I don't know for sure. I know I lost about 150 humanity when I accidentally shot (not killed) a friend of mine, so maybe that has something to do with it.

Killing seems to depend, though not sure how much, on how bad a bandit or how much of a hero they are. The general area is 3000.

So the moment I kill someone in self defense is the moment I lose my hero skin? Only have 6000 humanity atm.

Strong system.

Maybe it depends on if the kill counts as a bandit kill or a murder. I am not sure but I would also like to know. Your stats reset after your death but if your hero/bandit skin carries on what happens if you kill a bandit who has zero murders?

I think you'd need to be killed and respawn to lose the skin, so you would have until the end of that life to gain it back. On a side note, I don't think I'd recommend trying to be a Hero on their own, it's not an easy task. You also have to contend with how easy it is to lose.

If you're really that die-hard for it, find a good group to play with and play a support role. I've, unfortunately, not had to fire upon anyone and my humanity is near 30k at the moment.

Edit: Humanity isn't exactly reset. I'm an avid, damn near card carrying member of the Bush Wookie club, if die, it appears there is a reset, until I get another suit on.

Another note, if you're a Survivor/Hero, your humanity can go up just by running around and living. Living does not seem to have this effect on Bandits.

A player will lose humanity points when injuring or killing survivors or heroes. Humanity loss when killing a survivor is based on the number of projectiles or explosions that hit plus the amount of humanity that the other player has upon death.

Thanks that helped.
