It's one per CD Key mate, so you cannot let your mates have a go :P

Multiple chars on the same account gives you a massive advantage. Even if you can't have them logged in at same time.

I played Eve from 2004-2008. In Eve you got 3 chars per account. In the end i had 4 seperate accounts totalling 12 chars i could control. Advantage is massive if you know what your doing.

I hope DayZ sticks to one char per CD key.

Technically, yes, in that you can use any number of ArmA II profiles. Unfortunately, the only thing that's going to change is your character's name and appearance.
