For those with the bug with rabbits that instantly kill them when they get too close, we are currently working on a fix. I heard that some players can solve this issue temporally if they chop its head off.

Wait, what? My own head?

You are kidding right? This is completely harmless, click on the torrent file link and laugh it off, you must not have been on the internet for very long, this kind of topic have been on every popular game and everybody laugh it off, only some very naive people think its real.

Hell, I will take that as a compliment because it only means I did a good job if even the mods think it could be real, or is that wishful thinking? :P

Still, I would LOVE to see this changes.

From the number and quality if the mods it seems like anyone can be one these days.

Aaaaaaaaaw, so nice. :3

But yeah, I work 45 hours a week, drive 2 hours every days to get back home and when I get home I only have another 2 hours awake before I go sleep. That time is used for my daughter and girlfriend. So yeah, I will be all over this forum this winter when my contract end, but I wouldn't make a very effective mod. :P

I thought it was real for a second too. Then I thought"Hang on a minute....If this is real, then this game might just become totally awesome. Pretty sure Rocket doesn't want that. Hmm, yeah fake."

If you guys would find that patch great, please bump this thread and give me your beans... because they are tasty! But yeah, if you would want to see most of some of these changes make it into either the mod or the stand alone, please voice your opinion so the devs get to see it!

Well, the thing is: It is a whole lot easier to write a list of features than to actually code them. Some people seem to think that Rocket is trying to annoy them personally by not fixing bugs.

Really now, what would be the purpose of that?

In my opinion we should just drop the typical "QQ" about bugs and hackers. The mod is still playable as it is, there's an incredible stand-alone version of dayz coming up this year and I'm quite sure I speak for almost everybody when I say I want that as soon as possible! Just let Rocket focus on the stand-alone.

Im aware of that, but many of the changes I posted are very easily done. Such as the M203 flares falling speed, the number of vehicules on a server and reducing the spawn chance of fuel are few in many changes that would make the game better and would require not much work from rocket's progammers. Hell, even roaming hordes would be very easy to make, I mean I can do that in the editor by myself with a couple of waypoints and a shit ton of units. Only to make the waypoints random and link zombies to each others so they stay together.

I would say that most of this stuff is easily achievable by rocket from what I have seen, I mean we can already place sand bags and barded wire, it wouldn't be harder to place a box or a building that already exist in the arma 2 engine... but yeah, maybe Im completly wrong.

It is one thing to make a horde in the editor and another thing entirely to do so on a 50 slot server connected to the Hive. Unless you don't care about lag which, I can assure you, people do. Same thing goes for vehicles, it is not as easy as adjusting a number.

You fix something, something else breaks. As for the flares, maybe it is not high on the list of priorities?

The barbed wire was put in to test how much it would strain the server.

I do think your post was funny but the "show-this-list-to-Rocket-omg-he-never-thought-of-this" comments are just silly.

Again, why should he refuse to fix a problem if it was easy to do?

I played on servers with over 1000 zombies and there was no lag. Now, I play on full servers since the zombie nerf and there are barely 300-400 zombies at any time. I dont think a couple of hordes of 30 zombies would really that big of a deal.

As for vehicules, remove all boats spawn and replace them with land vehicules, that will already be a nice plus, and the strain will be the same. The only worthy boat anyway is the PBX, the rest are wasting ressources.

The flare was an exemple, anyway Im pretty sure its only 1 number that need to be changed to slower the fall of the flare.

I dont see how these comments are stupid, I believe many changes in that list as already stated could greatly improve the gameplay while being relatively easy to impliment, remove a weapon from the spawn list is easier than adding one, reducing the amount of ammo same, reducing the spawn chances of many others objects same.

I never said that last statement, someone else did, so please, redirect that question to its origin.

Im gonna make a list of all the suggestions I made in my next post that I consider, without any programming knownledge, would be relatively easy to get in the game asap.

Here is what I would like to have answered: If these changes are so easy to implement, then why isn't he doing it? Is he out to get us? Is there some sort of conspiracy? Help me out here, I want to understand it.
