Yet another "Hackerz!!" post...

Recommended Posts

Hey DayZ'ers.

So I run a server that (like many other peoples) is being hammered by Hackers.

No, this isn't a RANT post. I'm simply wondering if there are any steps (outside of trying to figure out who the hacker is amongst 30-50 names in a list and banning them) to help cut down/prevent this?

I know the Devs will be working on this, but in the mean time is there anything we can do short of passwording the server and getting blacklisted?

Any constructive advice would be welcome folks.

Thanks,

Sheldor - GB #500 - Survive-Z.com

Apparently there's a community forum where admins can swap information. I'm not an admin so I don't use it but I'll find out what it is and let you know.
