Hello team, Is there someway I can change my forum username? What I log in with, and what is shown as my Display name are two different things, I'd like them to be the same, Darth269 :blush:

Looking for a couple of groups to join my server. Survivors and bandits wanted. If we get enough players i'd like to run regular PVP events (will roll back the server afterwards so nobody looses gear). Server is whitelist only and ideally I'm looking for groups that want somewhere else to call home. I would create a TS3 channel for your group, so you wouldn't have to run with other groups unless you want to. Server is still quite new, so looking for a heads up on performance issues, glitches etc. No rules, save for no Hacking/bitching/side channel spam. If we do get hackers, the DB can be rolled back. Map is running 1.7.7.1 Chernarus, is viewable on DayZCommander, and the current mod list is as follows : Automatic Whitelister (Join TS3 requires an admin online)Plenty of vehiclesHALO Jump – Vilayer ModifiedAnimated Heli CrashesAuto Vehicle RefuelRemove Parts From VehiclesChernarus Power Plants (“Powerup” is the password)Vehicle Tow & Lift The teamspeak server details are below, anyone can join, clan members can access all rooms, but only the “open group” channels are available to all, with several rooms so people can group up.

I've gotten a basic site where fireteams can register and we can put match-ups on there and obviously the results. Once we get started we can refine it.

Hi Folks!! Over on the -SVZ- server we've been toying with the idea of an inter Clan PVP Tournament. I wondered if there are any CLANs that would be interested in competing in a league? I'd be looking for 3-6 teams to start with to see how things go and work out the kinks. I see some obvious issues such as Hackers and not being allowed to PSWD the server for any length of time at all. But hey, it could still be fun. I see the matches being turn based attack and defense of fixed positions, such as one of the castle locations or a small village etc. Killing the opponents team is a win, and a possible timer to enable a draw. So you can win each round, Lose each round or draw it, and therefore WIN, LOSE or DRAW the match. I figure 3 points for winning the overall match, 1 for Drawing, 0 for loosing. Anyone interested please PM me here or visit our Forums at Survive-Z.com. We are UK and US based, so we should be able to cover US, Europe and APAC easily enough. Hey DayZ'ers. So I run a server that (like many other peoples) is being hammered by Hackers. No, this isn't a RANT post. I'm simply wondering if there are any steps (outside of trying to figure out who the hacker is amongst 30-50 names in a list and banning them) to help cut down/prevent this? I know the Devs will be working on this, but in the mean time is there anything we can do short of passwording the server and getting blacklisted? Any constructive advice would be welcome folks. Right folks, a couple of things... We use MUMBLE for comms, you are welcome to jump in at any time, no permission needed, just be aware that we may not be too chatty right away if we're in the middle of an op. Second, it seems if you use Six launcher you may not be running the latest client, and my server IS. So either do it by hand, or else i've been informed that DayZCommander will update it correctly. Thirdly, I see the game in Dayzcommander, so I assume anyone that can't either has a different version or a filter stopping it from showing... Fourth... For anyone trying to connect to our server getting kicked for SCRIPT RESTRICTION #40... issue seems resolved.... i'll post here if anything changes.
