Battleye Kick: Ping To High (172) when the server is set to 300?

Well, I am not getting kicked from the server. But my friend is. This doesn't happen to him on any other server, but on the one server we managed to get heli he can't join -.-.

He joins, and is kicked seconds later for a ping usually around 100-200. Rarley does it exceed 180 though. Anyway, I contacted the server admin. Nice guy. He changed it from 150 to 300. Then refreshed the server. But my friend is still getting kicked.

Any ideas? All other servers work for him to my knowledge. The server is running 96061 and the latest DayZ

sometimes i have this on some servers, my friend got 200 ou 300 on ping and not get kicked, and i with 103 gets,no way to fix it i guess, anyway good luck to u guys :3

I'm sure there's a way to fix this. I wouldn't just disregard all hope.

Some servers, like the ones hosted by Vilayer, have another hidden config file that the server providers need to change. I recommend trying to contact the server provider and seeing if this is the case

There is no hidden config file

Steps in order

1) File Manager > \cfgdayz\BattlEye\

2) If u look in there u will have 2 files

BEServer.cfg
BEServer_active_????.cfg

3) Delete the

BEServer_active_????.cfg this is your old config that is still active.

Now restart the server & u are good...

Optional Steps (extra security incase scripters try to upload your file to find out rcon password)

1) File Manager > \cfgdayz\BattlEye\

2) This time delete the BEServer.cfg if it is there.

I think it may be that game server (website) problem.You can check the Ping for gaming website at Whoisxy.com/ping.aspx before playing games.If your ping is high you cannot play games fast.So play games in the website that shows low ping...While i was playing online games,i checked the ping for the site GameHouse first ,the Ping time was 40ms..Then i checked the ping for Zapak.com , the ping time is 227ms.So i decided to play games in Zapak.com ..Because of low ping, i have chose the site.You can also reset the modem and router whenever your ping high.
