Well, this is ending up to be quite a bad showing. The server lag is absolutely atrocious combined with the desync. People are thinking the server is getting ddos'd which is really unfortunate and just shows that no matter what you do you cannot enjoy this game anymore without someone interfering. I watched Dymoxide simply fall over dead without even getting shot just because of desync. His game also froze for a solid minute because of the server fumbling.

Shame. This event needs to be run again on a different date and worked out a bit more. Especially when there are prizes involved, you can't count people getting killed due to the server possibly being ddosed. Just not the way it was supposed to be done.

Yeah, i said this one time here and people didnt accepted very well, they cant get the facts. but I'll say it again: DayZ is a unfinished product, dont be surprised if the WarZ end up being a lot better than this. I mean, DayZ aint going nowhere by being a mod from a shitty game like Arma2, im glad that the standalone is a reality now, so the real effort need to be focused on the right direction.

All online games have lag issues but wtf cause the desync problems in this game?! I just dont get it.

What we saw here today on this event (wich is great btw.) was a waste of time, i quit in the middle of it. Its ridiculous and pointless, most of them was being crushed by the huge monter lag and desync.

I managed to tune in about half way through and it was certainly interesting! might even try and get involved in the next one! It highlighted a few problems with the mod aswell, kinda felt bad for the player puddn as he had the artifact glitch in his face near the end.

I got to watch a good bit of it. While there were problems typical of Dayz, it turned out over all to be something very promising. Good job to all involved for giving many of us a very entertaining evening.

I do hope we can have another event like this again soon.

trust me you dont missed much... it was awesome until the first 3 encounters end up with huge lag kills.

i dont remember the names but one guy took a whole 1911 clip in the face and ran away unharmed just to drop dead out of nowhere 2 mins later after shooting another one in the back who didnt suffered not even a scratch, i think it was his spirit LOL (yeah it was this crazy).

and i saw other guy hit the other with the hatchet like 596894 times and got killed after. ridiculous.

Bugs aside, that was an awesome event! As DayZ gets more polished and the people running the show work out some of the organization/rule kinks, this is going to be some of the best E-Sport entertainment out there. Thumbs up guys! Loved it!
