Don't do it the easy way until you are bored of the game... Doing it legit is so much more rewarding :) I stocked up on basic shitgear for an hour in cherno, then made my way to ballota. All of this on a full server. I took my time to take not of the current situation on the airfield. Saw a few guys with M4's crossing the airfield a few times. One was chasing the other into the barracks, killing him. I took my shit together, ran as fast as I could and knocked the guy in the head with my fire extinguisher. There we go... Fully equiped and a story to tell my grandchildren (lol)

Or you refuse to read, or you are just being plain stupid... complaining about everything you can. Like already stated, there ARE servers with different time settings. And not just a different location, because yesterday I joined an NL server which was daylight, while the NL server my friend was on had nighttime.

Barracksnat ballota airfield :p server hop if you need to... I luckilyndidnt need to. Managed to rush in with a fire extinguisher to oneshot a guy who hadbl just killed another player in there. Both were loaded with items. Both had an m4a1

What servers are daytime atm? Tried so many already :(

I will definately try out a fresh install if the problem persists. But I thought I'd try to ask some advice in here first. Someone may know what is causing this or can provide a fix.

*Which version of the game did you purchase? STEAM or RETAIL or MIXED: I bought combined ops on Steam long ago. *Are you running an Arma 2 OA beta patch? If so what version?: I am running 102591 and have also tried the newer 103419 patch. *Which method are you using to launch the game? I.E Sixupdater/steam/batch file: Dayz Commander *Your PC specs: Good enough *Your Operating System: Windows 7 *What is the Error/Problem you're having? Please provide screenshots if possible: I played for around a week on a server I enjoyed alot (UK 130) During Easter holidays I took about 4-5 days of a dayz break to go on a trip. And ever since I returned, I can't get onto this server anymore. The dayz & beta patch are still on the same versions as they were before I left. Now, before I describe what happens if I connect to the server... Alot of different things happen. It's stuck on waiting for host for a short while (1-10 seconds), showing the people in the server at that time in the top right corner. After this short while, the lobby will appear, but noone is in it (can't even see my own name in it) The Disconnect & OK buttons are still visible so I press OK The mission file starts downloading (every time, even though I already have it). During this, the names of everyone in the server show up in the lobby, but instead of being green, they show up with a grey color. Sometimes it shows 1 BLUFOR & the remaining amount of players in the server are the number for OPFOR. The list with spots you can choose (the list left of the player lobby list) does never show any names. About 1/5 times, it shows red "AI" on all the spots. As soon as the mission file has finished downloading: - the game crashes with a message that Arma 2 OA has stopped working - I get kicked by BattlEye for something about PublicVariable Restriction #5 or CreateVehicle Restriction #1 One time it said that I had died and I showed up as a seagull in the lobby screen. I hadn't died however as I was still alive on another server One of the server admins tried to find out what was keeping me off his server but we didn't manage to get it to work. What have I already tried: I cleared my MPmission cache folder I used Dayz Commander to try going back to an older patch and back to a newer one. I manually downloaded battleye dll files on battleye official webpage. I verified the integrity of my gamecache for both Arma 2 & Arma 2 OA on Steam. I can play perfectly fine on other servers (like UK 352) but I prefer UK130 as they use a custom Chernarus mappack on dayz hive and have very very active admins and 4x server restart a day. Another thing to mention is that other players on that server haven't had any trouble getting on it. It's just me... :( Help?

This is how it should be? If you want a game completely the way you would like it, make it yourself. If you don't like this game, simply play something else. If the constant threads about hackers etc aren't already enough, threads like these make me feel sick. Why did you buy the game in teh first place? Go play the normal ARMA 2 then, it's more realistic to have ghillies & shit there so.

If you took the time to find out how to hack in DayZ, you deserve this.

At Lingor Island, there was a type of boat you could stand on as a gunner (with your own weapons). Would love to see that boat in Chernarus! :)

At this very moment NL 21 is being plagued by hackers using teleports, god mode and other stuff (driving a boat on land) The guy killed me twice now ( 3-4 minutes ago and about half an hour ago aswell) If you can check the logs on who did it and what else he had been doing, that would be nice. A friend of mine got killed by him aswell, but the hacker teleported him back to the airfield and gave him back his stuff. I wasn't so lucky after the first half hour corpse run >_>

In my opinion, standalone doesn't mean it'll be hackerfree then :)
