This is the video in question, it's worth a watch but skip through to 4:48 and observe the rain, they're saying because it is cutting out that I did this myself, that's not even possible right? I thought everyone experiences rain like me... is there something different about my rain...?

Intermittent rain like that looks like a visual bug. If you messed with your files one would think you'd disable rain completely.

Well I didnt do anything but I hope it's fixed in the standalone then.

Edit: Yea if I was gonna do something like that 1. I would completely disable it and two, I wouldnt post it to my groups server.

Looks more like a bug than anything, the rain started so it's not like the effect has been deleted in game files.
