ShinySnack 10 Posted August 24, 2012 Do you guys think humanity drops a bit too fast when shooting someone? I mean, I'm certainly not a bandit or something - just yesterday, my friend got ran over by a car, so I popped both of the people in the car with an M1911. My humanity went from 3.3k to -1.1k immediately. I know humanity is based on how many times you hit them, but doesn't that simply encourage sniper rifle usage so humanity decreases slower? Humanity just seems to drop too fast for an average person to not become a bandit. I can't imagine what my humanity would be if I killed every survivor that shot at me first. ShinySnack 10 Posted August 24, 2012 HA. HA. you have -1.1k humanity, you're such a 'BAAAAADDDD' person... Not really my point - I'm just sayin' if I killed every single person who shot at me first, I'd be a bandit for sure. The reason I have such high humanity is because I usually don't shoot back. sausagekingofchicago 4711 Posted August 24, 2012 I don't know how accurate this is but..A player will lose humanity points when injuring or killing survivors or heroes. Humanity loss when killing a survivor is based on the number of projectiles or explosions that hit plus the amount of humanity that the other player has upon death.http://www.dayzwiki.com/wiki/Humanity
