binaryman010011 8 Posted August 23, 2012 Just wondering because even though it says it will be bound to your CD key on every character created, it always asks me this every time I die.

Jukez 44 Posted August 23, 2012 Nope, you select the gender EACH time you spawn. Remember that in the mod you cannot wear ghillie or camo skins when using female character. This should be fixed in the standalone.
Tabris07 159 Posted August 23, 2012 Are ghillie and camo suits wearable now? Last time I heard (back in the days when you spawned with a Makarov), you would spawn in the ocean if you logged off with camo on. I haven't worn any of the ghillie suits/ camo I've found because I haven't heard anything different.

Any skin can get you bugged on rare occasions though. But this can happen when you have a hero/bandit skin also, so might as well use ghilie/camo.
slartibartfast (DayZ) 77 Posted August 24, 2012 Just be aware that when you first put on the ghillie or camo suit then there is a good chance that you will reset your backpack to the one you were wearing when you last logged. It will also be empty. It is always best to remove your backpack first.Of course remember to replace the empty one on your back with the full one on the ground at your feet. ;)
marlow 16 Posted August 24, 2012 I droped my back pack last night and put the ghillie on. Got another Coyote Backpack droped that one and picked up my other one. But it did reset my Debug monitor. NO kills or Humanity.
