Way to make "save tent" working

Recommended Posts

Hey like the title says i wonder if there is a way to make new Tents in Version 1.7.2.5 save the gear and dont diasappear after restart.

i would be thankfull for all help even if its something like:

"Dance arround the tent for 5 minutes while crounching keep hitting the buttons Q E before pressing "save tent""

Yes there is.. Put up a tent.. Put all your equipment in the tent and save it within 30 seconds

Half the time you'll loose your shit, but if you are lucky? the tent will stay

Place tent, put stuff in it quickly and save it once, don't touch it again, I seem to have more success when its on flat ground and not in a tree/rock, more testing required

Place two cans of mountain dew directly in front of the tent, then drink a Pepsi. Put your gear in the tent, then place a tank trap directly behind it. After that run a 1000 ms away then back. Then try saving it. I think it works.

I'll help you stop your testing.

Tents need to be on flat and level terrain because they, like all other vehicles in the game, reorient themselves at a restart. Now for some reason when these vehicles reorient themselves they do NOT keep the inventory changes that happened AFTER the flip. So in effect a 'tilted' tent is flipped and will not save items until it is reoriented after the restart.
