Custom skins allowed or not`?

My question is as follows:

I saw this video and it would be very interesting to know if it is treated as hacking or exploiting?

I would really enjoy to play with a custom skin but I don't want to be banned coz of it.

On my server is has been disabled due to the desync that happens when custom faces join.

It is just a Arma setting... like crosshair or 3'rd person.

I used a camo face skin that's already in ArmAII with no issues. Just how much my hands shone with a ghillie really bugged me!

I'm not even seeing a custom face option from the pulldown..... am I doing something wrong or was this disabled int he latest patch?

you need to change files in game. but i dont know which ones so i cant help you there. i am not even sure how on that things devs react. it is big advantage if you camo your skin, you are very hard target to be spoted in that case. that is big advantage so i am not sure is that alowed.
