How to set up camp in...

I realize this list has more Don't's than Do's. If you have a problem with that, shut up and move on.

(Forest)

1: Try to set up camp in low pine trees. They slow zombies down and hide you and your camp quite well...if done correctly.

2: Don't set up camp near water. They usually have a zombie-spawning shed right next to them and are visited by players. Frequency of player visits differ from server to server

3: Don't make your camp obvious. What I mean by this is doing 1 of the following: Setting up camp next to a road. Setting up camp in a open area. *Yes, forests do have some blank spots.* Setting up camp with a car/pickup/truck right next to it.

(Cities like Cherno and Elektro. May apply to Stary Sobor)

1: Sandbags are a must. They will slow down zombies big time, but slow down Bandits for only a second or 3.

2: Don't set up camp in buildings that players will visit alot unless you can protect them good. Some examples are Churches, Supermarkets, and Firehouses.

3: Set up camp in an area safe from snipers. Here's a example of a good safe spot, from Captain Obvious: Indoors.

(Towns/Small towns. Mostly stuff from above.)

1, 2, and 3: See above

4: Compensate for reduced cover by moving the camp to areas where it will be covered in shadows, and not easily seen from over that hill that has a blade of grass that looks oddly like a AS50's barrel.

1: You're in trouble

2: You're Screwed

3: You're Fucked

4: (Clan name) Went to town on your ass.

I guess this would help those noobs who want to start a base asap. I'd rather wait even though I've been playing quite awhile now, but I do have a team that may have a base by now... I'd say players will play long enough to know where a base set up would be best,or at least good, as by that time of wanting a base they should know that map very well.

Not hating or anything, I should have mentioned good work, and it's nicely laid out plus not to much to read for some who may be a tad lazy. ;)

You can't set up tents. Nothing saves with the latest patch. Am I wrong here? No tents were saving on my and other servers sense the last patch. But, then I hear others saying tents were saving on theirs.. I have no idea.

I guess some people are having no problems with tents, while others: "HOLY MUTHERFUKING SHYT TNTS AR HORILE A NED TU BE VEMOVED!!!!!!!!!11"

Sometimes the best places to set up camp are the most obvious ;)
