Logging in to death

Anyone know the cause of this? I did not log out bleeding or in shock of any kind. I also did not log out in a high traffic area. This has happened to me more than once. I log in and once my character loads it says "has been killed by friendly fire" and I then show a screen of the debug plain. If I leave and join another server I am respawned with nothing on the coast and it does not ask me to pick a gender or anything.

what happened to me once was that, for some reason, the game bugged out and i ended up out in the middle of the dessert, while in midgame. this happened as i was changing into a camo clothing i had recently found. when i realized i was in the dessert, my first thought was that i was the victim of a hacker and was going to be completely annihilated in the next few seconds. so i did what anyone else would do, i unloaded on anything and everything around me.

it wasn't until the third or fourth person that i realized these people were paralyzed in place, unable to move and had no weapons drawn. in fact all the shooting was coming from me. the second thing i noticed was that the first 2 and 3 people i had killed were coming straight back and spawning in the same places.

i realized that while loading in, a server may load you into a native location out somewhere in the dessert, as it gathers your character information, or character create.

these people that i had just killed were in fact just loading in, and on their way to get started with their game. feelsbadman.jpg

I'm quite sure you can't actualy kill them while they are in this state. But maybe I'm wrong?

i had a similar issue where i spawned and it said i had died while on the last loading screen. in my case my body is still where it was when i logged off but i cant move. i can open my gear and even placed a tank trap but that it. i can look around and my blood is full and im not starving. i dont know what to do.

Just happened to me too. Logged in to one server, played a bit and got kicked due to battleye failed to update. Logged into another to the dead scoreboard screen, respawned on coast with nothing not even a backpack but my kill count is still there. Not sure if I should just die properly or wait if the off chance I might get my gear back. Finally got NVGs T-T

You guys got hacked. Your gear will be on the server where you last logged out.

I doubt it was hacks, probably just a glitch. Probably need to try your luck on other servers, or just await the next patch.
