Hello,

I had to go AFK for about ten minutes, so I logged out and sat in the lobby. I come back and I see I'm globally banned by Battleye. Well I don't hack, so I thought no biggie, I'll just try relogging on the server. Guess what? Wasn't banned. There was an issue a little while back that Battleye went rampant and banned people sporadically (even those who didn't use scripts). Ultimately, they fixed this, and unbanned the innocent people while everything returned to normal(?).

Though as of recently, more random bans have been coming up. I'll say this now.

If you didn't cheat, then of course you have a right to bitch. But simply wait a while and try reconnecting. My accidental ban I received today was not permanent. So don't go crazy because you got globally banned for cheating (even though you didn't cheat) and for those who have cheated, good game.

TL;DR If you're banned and you didn't cheat, try relogging/waiting a bit.

Tell this to the droves of people on hack site forums who are crying oceans of tears that they've been globally banned and threw their money away on a 'premium' hack tool. Regardless of your outrage, BattlEye is effective.

It's human nature to rage like a three year old (like you just did) over negative experiences but totally ignore and not report the good ones. Especially when a 'good experience' with BattlEye is not knowing it's even there because it's keeping the hackers out. BattlEye has substantially improved the situation of the past few weeks. It's certainly not perfect, but it's having a positive impact.

ive never hacked anything in my life but i just tryed to log in and it says im globally banned you"d think if i was hacking Id be a bit more succsessfull any ideas whereto go from here? ive got the steam version.
