angelus. 18 Posted August 22, 2012 hey everyone. it takes sooo long to find a tent (only have found two in my two months of playing so far) and i play by myself and was hoping to set up camp because my old tents didnt save :(i was hoping someone here would be nice enough to give me a tent (if you had two to spare that would be fantastic). i dont have much to give in return other than a couple ak mags or a bloodbag and morphine. im not trying to ambush anyone, im just a lone wolf trying to survive in this world. if you shoot me, i hope you have fun with my crappy guns lol. hopefully an honest player can help me out here! I have filled it with many useful items.Or......Log into a low population night time server. Find a supermarket and empty everything out of it. Every empty can, makarov round, can of beans etc etc.Run at least 120m away and let it cook slowly for ten to twenty minutes.When you open the doors there should be a whole load of new spawns. I bet you get a tent and a load more other useful stuff.Of course this may be against the spirit of the game. If your conscience is clear though, then who really cares? smore98 225 Posted August 22, 2012 Tents were meant for the use of item storage, and there is a way to save the items in it by saving the tent in the options when you are near it. However, the tents are extremely buggy, and are not really reliable for saving your items. Even if you save it, it can simply disappear and you won't get anything back. I was spared by only putting a few irrelevant items in a tent once, and it just disappeared the next day. Plus, even if it does save, you better hope no one finds it.
