Lose backpack in water

Recommended Posts

On .2.4 i didn't but idk in .2.5

There's a video in youtube about myths in DayZ and if you loose it you will find it in the place where you entered to the water.

It will be on the bottom.

The script to disable/edit the chances of it happening has been free to disable/edit since a while back. Not many admins are aware of it or simply do not care. Perhaps they feel it adds to the realism? In the end, the best thing to do is simply not swim. In the first place.

for me, it did! 3 days ago I was swimming with a ghillie suit on. When I got to the other side, my ENTIRE inventory and backpack were gone. Later, when I swam back, I saw all my gear sitting at the bottom of the lake, but couldn't reach it. All I had was my sidearm and ammo, everything else was gone :( Filed a bug report but I haven't seen any new ones approved in a while
