Pony Vests 13 Posted August 22, 2012 (edited) I just joined a high pop server US328 KrypticContact.com where I loaded in north of Chern hoping to see some rock wall snipers camping out. I didn't see anybody lying down, but I did see a black SUV parked next to the wall. I scanned all over Chern with an L85 to see if anyone was camping the SUV to use as bait and saw nothing - no heat signatures anywhere. When I stood up and started moving towards the vehicle, I saw a few heat spots show up while scanning the field and when I aimed down the sights, I saw about seven guys laying in the field staring at me. I immediately ducked behind a tree and layed down hoping to maybe snipe one or two of them before I died when someone named Fish started playing music over the chat. It wasn't in direct communication and the server did not support global - the name was whitish like when an admin speaks to the server. Within a few seconds, I heard footsteps behind me and immediately turned around (music was playing the entire time to muffle the sound of the footsteps) when I saw two guys teleport behind me.Had I not aborted quickly I would have been able to get pictures, but I would have also died to cheaters. They all had red paint on their faces and were wearing the soldier clothing. If someone near Chern wants to grab some videos of these guys, join at your own risk. Legacy (DayZ) 1091 Posted August 22, 2012 How does this 'story' help support your claim that the server supports hackers? Also, I could of sworn that admins talked in red?
Pony Vests 13 Posted August 22, 2012 (edited) I was under the impression that only admins had the ability to global chat when the rest of the server was unable to speak in global.Plus, every time I have joined a server where the owner or admin was speaking to the entire server, it was in the same color as what was showing when Fish was playing the music. So it was either the admin/owner with a group of cheaters or it was someone using a script that allowed them to talk over global chat when global chat was disabled.Either way, teleporting/cheater group camping a hacked-in SUV Chern on US328.Edited the title until further proof is presented that an owner or admin was part of the group. NFK 102 Posted August 22, 2012 I've just logged off US328. Me and everyone on the server got killed all at once. When I respawned, I started to run back to my body, when suddenly I was carrying a M16 and a Coyote backpack, full tool belt, everything. So yeah, definitely hacker activity on this server. rogue246 28 Posted August 24, 2012 I've been playing on this server the past week or so and remember a player named Fish the other night. I didn't hear anything weird but after I logged back in I had the same experience as the poster above. On the beach with all my gear.. No idea if that's related but it happened twice now. Pony Vests 13 Posted August 24, 2012 Just tried this server again today. Two black hacked-in SUVs driving through Chern blowing up buildings. I checked the player list and Fish was in the game along with several other familiar looking names.
Dont Shoot Me 0 Posted September 3, 2012 (edited) Bumping this up because I was just on this server, had repaired a helicopter, and encountered this same teleporting hacker group. We got teleported mid-flight to the middle of Cherno along with what I am assuming was every single other vehicle on the map. We got out of the chopper in Cherno and after killing a hacker that tried to jump into the chopper we had repaired all the vehicles got teleported to Elecktro (we know this because one of our teammates was there). I was recording the entire time I was in this server and I will upload a video tonight. Edited September 3, 2012 by Dont Shoot Me
