It's really annoying me, any way to fix it?

It's the debug menu.

Click on "Advanced" (lower left), find the "Interface size:" selection (center right), set it to "small" or "very small" and restart ARMA.

Note that interface sizes other than "normal" might cause trouble with other mods/missions/map/etc.
