You can't get battleeye banned for using hacked in weapons unless you were the one that hacked it in, if he wants to use it then who cares, just hide his body with the gun on it next time he dies

It wasn't a serious suggestion. That'd just be stupid, but you're right about the rest.

While he may not have spawned it in, if he ends up killing the server administrator with it, they may ban him from the server. Might not be a problem if you don't play on a specific server.

To be fair I'd say all those AS-50's, L85's and M107's you see in Cherno/Elektro are scripted in too and it's very likely that a lot of people are unknowingly using weapons that were created by cheaters :)

The difference is that the L85 AWS, AS 50 and M107 are in the loot table. The AK-107 PSO is not, just like the hacker-popular AS50 TWS is not in the loot table (anymore).

Server admins could kick/ban for a scripted weapon that was "found" or "given" to you or your friend but you won't be Battleye Globally banned for it. Your friend will just run that risk.
