What exactly happens to you body after you die?

Hi, I am sorry if this was asked before ( I wasn't able to find it )

But what, in detail, happens to your body after you die?

Does your body save to the server you die on? How long does it usually stay there?

Can you log in and out a couple of times and when coming back that body will still be there?

Don't think anybody suggested Alt-F4 ing. I simply meant if I disconnected whilst running to my corpse, would the body still be there?

So, anyway, does anybody know if its 15min or untill server restart?

The OP never said anything about ALT-F4'ing.

And I never told anyone to do it. I only told what was going to happen in different scenarios.

Yup. They're very much dead.

The only harm they can do is prevent you from getting their gear.

When your Blood hits 0 or goes negative, the hive instantly saves/deletes your character file, so you'll have to start anew no matter what.

and yes it does stay on the server you died on..

if you log to another server you wont find your body.

I think you just said that your body was still there on a server a day later...? Well, if so, that's possible. It just means it hadn't restarted in that time frame and no one had hid your body yet.

It depends on the server. We killed some dude on the tower in cherno and about a hour later his body was gone... But I found one of my groups corpses at our base about 5 hours later. He had been offline for several hours.

A dead body always stays until server restart. Or until someone finds your body and decides to "hide" it. If you disconnect before getting the dead message then the body will disappear.

If a body has disappeared before server restart then it is because someone hid it. People usually do that to prevent other people from getting the remaining loot.
