I bought a retail/boxed copy of ARMA 2: Combined Operations today (with Operation Arrowhead included). I installed them both to my computer and am having all sorts of trouble between downloading the right patches and putting them in the right folders. Can someone please just tell me EXACTLY what I have to do so I can start playing on the Day Z mod because I can't even get past the patching for ARMA 2.

just download dayz commander it dose it for you or six updater

1. Run both Arma2 and Arma2: Combined Operations once to complete installation.

2. Download the latest version of DayZCommander from http://www.dayzcommander.com

3. Run DayZCommander and click the "versions" button from the top menu.

4. Click "Install latest revision" under Arma2 OA. Wait for the download and install to complete.

5. Click "Install latest version" under DayZ. Wait for the download and install to complete.

6. Press "Done" to close the versions panel.

7. Double-click any listed server to play.

As said above - DayZ Commander makes life SO much easier it's unreal. I was having countless problems before I started using it, now life is good. xD

I got a message saying "Addon 'dayz_anim' requires addon 'CA_dubbing_Counterattack'" when I try and enter a server. What does this mean?

If you bought it off Steam, you need to run Steam in administrator mode and run the games once if you get a bad cd-key FYI.
