So I had a firefight in Elektro with a guy and killed him.

Searched his body and he had this gun so I took it. He looked legit enough.

Now I read that it was once a legit weapon and people may still have it, or that it may be hacked in. My question is if I'll be banned for having it. Though someone told me that you can't get banned for having hacked weapons? That seems kind of silly, though.

I just don't want to get banned eugh. Thanks for any answers!

You might get banned from servers by server admins but you wont get globally banned for it.

You cannot be globally banned by BattlEye for using it.

Many individual servers admins will either kick or ban you for using it on their servers.

We need a complete char/tent wipe once the duping is sorted, then have BattlEye ban anyone who is using a weapon that is not in the game.

I always hide bodies with hacked-in weapons. Don't carry the TWS around, if you get killed someone else gets the chance to use an overpowered weapon. Just destroy it by moving it to a full backpack.

It's a pretty cool weapon, though. Shame I'll have to get rid of it.
