So the average time of people alive is 1 hour and 5 minutes.... is it perhaps because of the Humanity and bandit skin is back? or is it that people have gotten smarter... or is it.... that.... hackers are dwindling???? what is the cause of this i wonder???

Could be that most servers are flooded with duped items and thus more people have good gear?

hmm could be tho i play on one server of which im close with the admin and we do our best to keep hackers away however i will not post server name incase of hackers reading these posts :P

Could it be that it was stuck on 49 mins for about 3 weeks and now it's fixed? Or that the respawn button has been removed?

Removing the respawn button would have only contributed to a lower life expectancy, but yeh it's been stuck for ages

I last way longer than 1 hour. Usually my lives are 5 or 6 hours spread out over a week, until I do something stupid while playing, or get bored with my current character and go out in a blaze of horde slayer glory.

Yes but then there are those who only last a few minutes while they run to the nearest light house / zombie to kill themselves so they can get a better spawn location.
