Ping limit(s)

When i try and join my friends private server i get in fine but after 5 minutes i get kicked for high ping, is there a way to disable or even change the ping limit(s) on his server.

I believe you can change it in the BattleEye settings. I'm not sure, I don't run a server, but i did have a friend adjust his so it doesn't kick me (I have bad ping as well).
