enemyd0wnn 0 Posted June 10, 2012 Such a hard question...Do you pack some extra heat or prefer to pack some extra supplies? Currently running a M24/M4 CCO SD with M9SD... the problem is I seem to run low on supplies and ammo due to all the space taken by the second primary in my bag...What do you bandits do? Carry two or pick one you trust? If I had a M14 aim I would drop both primarys and be done with it... such a beast gun.The problem with my setup is both work perfectly... I only kill if needed and prefer to be silent but if there's multiply hitting them at range is a huge plus
miqueloz 33 Posted June 10, 2012 I think two primaries is best. I use M14 AIM/DMR + M9SD myself. While M14 is awesome and can be used at range, I find the DMR to be nice for 350-800 meter kills.
salty (DayZ) 39 Posted June 10, 2012 I run with the exact same setup (M24/M4 CCO SD with M9SD) if I'm playing alone. If I'm with a group, however, I'll leave one of my primaries back at camp depending on which role I'd like to fill so I have room for some extra medical supplies. I only carry one primary on loot runs as well, even if playing solo.
Hawk24 94 Posted June 10, 2012 M16A4 ACOG has the best of both worldsA scope for long range, I have been headshotting people over 600m awayBurst mode for close range
Reign19k 1 Posted June 10, 2012 2 primariesFood and medical supplies are on site procurement ... off dead bodies for example.

adamater 3 Posted June 10, 2012 IMO you always want a close range and a long range.A sniper and an assault rifle/shotgun works well, throw in that skorpion/uzi gun for super close range, and you are set.
Zarlak 339 Posted June 10, 2012 I use a M4 CCO SD and a DMR with a M9SD. Once you pick up the big cayote bag off a bandit space isn't so much of an issue. Since I play in a group and we have tent bases with food in, I only need to carry about 2 food, 2 drink, a blood bag and 1 morphine/2 painkillers plus 3-4 mags for each gun. Rabbican 1 Posted June 10, 2012 If you want to be prepped for any situation you go with silenced M4 or Mp5 (M4 is better) silenced 9m if you have it (usually never use it with silenced rifle) 50 cal sniper if you get lucky and fin one you can zero out to 1200m, there is even one from heli crashes that zeros to 1800, otherwise cz, m24, or dmr (more setup time with windages) to shoot 300m +. If you have zombies between you and your target that are within 300m and in used silenced rifle over that range if you don't have zombies around you (within 200m) you can use sniper with impunity. Love those 50 cal snipers though 1 shot kill.
Asuka 20 Posted June 11, 2012 I carry a DMR and an M4A3 CCO myself, I always equip the M4 whenever I'm getting ready to go inside buildings or near areas with a high chance of CQC, besides that I usually have my DMR constantly equipped.
stinkyghost 28 Posted June 11, 2012 How can you have two Primary's? Czech pack?
jimmy_rustlers 24 Posted June 11, 2012 That seems strange to me. I do not hoard stuff and try to not get attached to it. Such is the way of the bandit. You can die anytime and anywhere. As long as i have my 1911 i'm happy. Lee is making me even more happy :) You know, can't spend the day without stealing :D
S.J.Lodge 0 Posted June 11, 2012 I never bother. Winnie and the M1911 always satisfy the situation. Ammo and range to an extent. Although they never hold up to well in a long range fight just hunker down, let them come to you and the problem is solved.
