Choose to be female, still show up as male in game?

I clearly chose to be female yet Im a guy ingame.

Just a bug, unfortunately. Most of the people I know didn't even get the gender change prompt when the patch was released. I guess I was one of the lucky ones.

Same issue here too on 1.7

I also have the same issue. When I first tried to play the game, selected a 1.6 server and it gave me the option of male or female. Picked female, got an error that it was the wrong version. Connected to a 1.7 server, was male with no option to change it.

1.7 first time logging in, clicked female, got disconnected (authenticating blarg), got beta patch for arma2, connected again, spawned male.

When they fix this bug, I'm sure they will make a reset of gender... Or atleast I hope so.

Also happened to me on the first day and there is nothing I can do about it...

Waiting for a fix like hundreds of others.
